WE ARE EXPERIENCING A BIG INCREASE IN INQUIRIES AND BOOKINGS for this summer (not complaining!) and it's possible we will not be available for your desired date or dates.  If you contact us, we'll let you know as soon as we can whether your dates will work out.

PLANNING FOR 2022: Due to various projects and obligations, we will have limited date availability for guiding in 2022.  We will update our available dates as soon as we can.  Thanks for your patience!

COVID-19: Yes, we are open and successfully offering private tours by following all local COVID-19 safety guidelines to keep you safe during our birding tours.  You can see our full COVID-19 process here!

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK RESERVATIONS: We're getting lots of questions about access to Rocky Mountain National Park this summer.  After first saying there would not be any reservation system this summer, the park recently announced a timed-entry reservation system for park access May 28 through October 11.  There are two parts to this.  First, if you wish to access the Bear Lake Road corridor between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m., you will need to make a reservation.  HOWEVER, if you don't plan on visiting the Bear Lake Road area but only other parts of the park, the reservation requirement starts at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  The important message, in our minds, is that IF YOU CAN ENTER THE PARK BEFORE 9 A.M. (or after 3 p.m.), you don't need a reservation to visit the vast majority of the park.  For OUR birding days, we always enter before 9 .m. so the new reservation system won't impact our trips.  You can read more here.
